1990

Dominance

In the 90s there was a dominating effervescent tablet brand in Central Eastern Europe maintaining a by far leading market share.

1999

Market Leader

Only a few years after establishing our food supplement division in 1999, we became market leader on the local market. Based on this success the company started to introduce the products on the most successful export markets of the mother company.

2004

New Products

Effervescent tablets were still the flagship products but a whole new product category was developed in the next years such as tablets, sticks and drink powders.

2008

Expansion

By 2008 and the nicely performing sana+ Kft. with its nearly 50 export markets together with PEZ Hungary Kft. outgrew their production site.

2009

Merging

As a major step in our history, the 2 company merged and created a new legal entity called PEZ Production Europe Kft. and built a brand new production site according to the highest European standards.

2016

SANA+

Till 2016 the food supplement division of PEZ Production Europe Kft. – the former Sana+ Kft. – with the continuous growth became a strategic player within the company structure so the management saw the necessity to relaunch Sana+ as an independent organisation again.

Now

Today we are market leader in most of the Central European countries and we produce many major Western European brands and private label items of the biggest chains across Europe. Our products are widely distributed in Middle East and the no. of distribution partners is increasing also in USA and in Far East.

In the 90s there was a dominating effervescent tablet brand in Central Eastern Europe maintaining a by far leading market share. The history of our food supplement division started in 1999 when the management of the former PEZ Hungary Kft. started to develop effervescent tablets. A few years later we became market leaders on the local market. Based on this success the company started to introduce the products on the most successful export markets of the mother company. The feedback was very positive and this was the reason why the first Sanaplus Kft. was launched at the end of 2004.

As a new and independent legal entity sana+ actively started to expand its business internationally. Effervescent tablets were still the flagship products but a whole new product category was developed in the next years. The company today produces a wide product portfolio of tablets with or without film coating, chewable tablets, dextrose tablets, sticks, multivitamin lollypops and drink powders.

By 2008 the nicely performing Sanaplus Kft. with its nearly 50 export markets together with PEZ Hungary Kft. outgrew their production site. As a major step in our history, the two companies have merged and created a new legal entity called PEZ Production Europe Kft. and built a brand new production site according to the highest European standards. This is where the operation takes place since 1st of January, 2009.

Till 2016 the food supplement division of PEZ Production Europe Kft. – the former Sanaplus Kft. – due to its continuous growth became a strategic player within the company structure so the management saw the necessity to relaunch Sanaplus Kft. as an independent organisation again. The major difference is that PEZ Production Europe Kft. kept the production for both the food supplements and the candies. This way the sinergies can be utilized and both divisions have the possibility to offer very attractive prices on the market. The sales & marketing of the food supplement division is exclusively carried out by Sanaplus Kft.

Today we are market leaders in most of the Central European countries and we produce many major Western European brands and private label items of the biggest chains across Europe. Our products are widely distributed in the Middle East and the number of distribution partners is increasing also in the USA and in the Far East.
